The More You Know - Property Taxes: A County Perspective

David Baker, Director of Tax and Revenue Outreach with the NC Association of County Commissioners, will join us on Friday, October 30, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM to discuss the county viewpoint on the ongoing property tax conversation.

We know municipalities have distinctly different perspectives on property tax, given their role in the overall process and with an amendment on the November ballot that would give the General Assembly more power to set property tax rates, it is important that we understand all perspectives.  David is one of the state's leading experts on property tax processes and previously served as the Director of the Local Government Division of the NC Department of Revenue.
